Mechanic
Renewable Forest Products is one of the largest logging companies in Northwestern Ontario, we have excellent benefits, training programs and take pride in our work. We are looking for a new full time Mechanic who would like to join our team! Full benefit package!
A valid Truck & Coach license is required for this position or a registered Apprentice, along with experience working with large diesel truck in the transportation industry. Responsible for the maintenance and repairs of a fleet of trucks doing any and all necessary work such as: diagnosing malfunctions and perform vehicle repairs (adjust/test steering, electrical, cooling, braking systems, drive trains, suspensions, power steering units, clutches, preventative maintenance, etc.) Oversee/work with a team of technicians and assisting them with repairs when needed. Preference will be given to those who have previous leadership and supervisory experience.
310T License with 3 – 5 years experience or a registered Apprentice. Able to problem solve, excellent mechanical aptitude, strong interpersonal and communication skills. Able to work on all makes and models.
